As a technology coordinator and technology design teacher, Abeer utilizes innovative technology to enhance classroom instruction and advocates Edtech by blogging and coaching other teachers. |
“Being an educator, I always scrutinize to find best practices to ensure my students are well-equipped for the future,” Abeer tells us. “Fifteen years into teaching, I came to realize that technology is what both teachers and students need. With the help of technology tools, my classroom is enriched with tools that help me prepare, engage, assess, and proceed from assessed data toward a differentiated plan for each group/learner. My learners are not only engaged but also learning how to use technology in a positive manner that helps them navigate into their future.” “Three years later, now I became the technology coordinator at my school and a technology design teacher. Sharing my passion for technology with our MYP female learners makes me feel optimistic about their future as I see how they express themselves and expand their trust in what they can achieve, seeing more opportunities in the tech field and AI than ever before.” |
Teaching is a mission to inspire the new generation to stand out, and using technology can prepare them for the 21st century and empower them to take the lead.
