Your opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Connected Residential New Product Development Team in Peachtree City or Atlanta, GA. You’ll be responsible for the overall mechanical design of the product and meeting the project schedule and budget.

What you’ll do
Work in conjunction with internal resources and remote engineering to create the overall project timeline, as well as define deliverables and guide the team to completion.
Coordinate with marketing to ensure project specifications are clear, complete, achievable and consistent with the voice of the customer.
Ensure design progression via CAD modeling reviews, thermal and mechanical analysis, drawing and model retention, testing plan creation, test review and coordination with internal and third-party compliance.
Ensure project tooling budget and product cost requirements are met.
Coordinate with sourcing team to ensure vendors are identified, quotations are obtained and quality standards/form deliverables are met.​

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of mechanical product design experience (End2End)
• 5+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with 3D modeling software
