Position Summary:
Ware2Go has a unique opportunity for the individual who is interested in leading both the technical design and architecture for our digital platform, but also leading and participating in the delivery. We want that person who loves to design the best solution as well as make it happen.

Responsibilities:
● Responsible for the technical design, stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of the system architecture
● Ensure compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, standards and best practices
● Implement solutions focusing on reuse and industry standards at a program, enterprise or operational scope
● Recommends changes on project design concepts to improve efficiency
● Manage a team of software engineers, including task planning and code reviews
● Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment
● Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects
● Contribute technically to projects
● Work closely with product management team to ensure we’re building the best products

Required Qualifications:
● 8+ years of technical leadership and architecture experience in software development in a variety of languages (including Java), frameworks such as Spring and deep experience in SaaS and Cloud
● Experience with microservices, continuous integration processes and serverless architecture
● Demonstrated experience designing and delivering REST APIs
● Understanding of distributed architectures, especially scale and performance of such systems
● Experience with modern software build and package management tools such as npm and gradle
● Prefers an agile software delivery model
● Has worked with a wide variety of databases, including both relational databases and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB or ElasticSearch
● Capable of leading a team of software engineers
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

● Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
● Pays attention to software development/architecture trends and new best practices
