Vice President, Software Engineering

About This Opportunity
This is an opportunity to lead a team of high performing software engineering professionals as we continue to build and modernize our core processing and activiation platforms. In this role you will lead teams working on platforms to include core transaction processing, fraud management, digital and fulfillment, corporate websites and others.
Responsibilities
Lead the Platform, People, and Process strategy and corresponding IT delivery and roadmaps for a broad portfolio – including Digital & Fulfillment, Core Transaction Processing, Fraud Management, Point of Sale, Lottery, Corporate Web platforms.

Lead the on-going cloud native journey for core transaction Processing and enterprise platforms.

Lead, build out, and support the full stack distributed delivery team tasked with the development, quality, and support of Incomm Payment’s next generation core transaction processing platform, fraud detection & machine learning, digital and fulfillment, Point of Sale, external facing websites, public and enterprise APIs.

Work across departments, teams, and organizations and with executive stakeholders to prioritize product roadmaps, drive change and growth as it pertains to InComm Payment’s digital business.

Influence designs, architectures, standards for large-scale, highly available, cloud-native transaction processing platforms for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Help drive a strong engineering and product culture leveraging Agile, Cloud Native, DevOps, and SRE principles
Manage multiple Cost Centers

Qualifications
B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 15 years of experience
5 plus years of proven experience leading a large-scale transaction processing platform
5 plus years of experience leading a large, distributed IT development and agile delivery organization
Experience with cloud platforms (MS Azure/Amazon/AWS) and cloud-native architectures

Strong executive-level verbal and written communication skills
Strong stakeholder management, agile delivery, and prioritization skills
Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
Expert understanding of high-volume transaction processing, cloud platforms, cloud native architectures
Passion for people, leadership, team building, and technology
Adept at working at a fast-paced enterprise environment and managing priorities
Excels at building high performance teams
Budgetary, P&L management experience
