We are delighted that you are joining us as a sponsor for WIT Awards this year! The following information provides valuable information to you as our sponsor and gives tips on how to be prepared.

Important Dates & Sponsorship Checklist

There are several key dates that sponsors should be aware of to get the most out of their sponsorship package. It may be helpful to download this checklist using the link below of the Sponsorship Communication Guide as a reminder of approaching dates and deadlines.

Registering Your Guests

As a Sponsor you will receive an allotted amount of tickets for the main event as well as the VIP reception. Each sponsor lead will receive an email from Heather Rocker to register your attendees. Each lead will log into their WIT company account to register. We will send reminders as the event gets closer and this will allow you to update your attendees as needed up until October 4th. 

You will not be able to make changes after October 4th online. After October 4th, a registered guest that is no longer able to make the event may replace himself/herself. The new registrant that is replacing a previously registered guest will have to know who he/she is replacing and email lfacer@mywit.org so we can ensure they get the information for the event.

Instructions to register your guests for WIT Awards:

  1. Click HERE to register
  2. Log in using, the email associated with your company account. Click HERE to reset your password.
  3. Once logged in, enter the number 1 in both the VIP and General quantity boxes. This provides your exact ticket amount. If you do not have a VIP quantity box, you are entitled to General Admission only.
    • If you are prompted to select employees, please click the “Continue” button. Do not select the employees listed.

     4. It is okay if you do not know all of your attendees, still register for all your tickets. You will not be able to add more later. If you do not have all the required information, use the placeholder provided below.

    • First Name – Company Name
    • Last Name – Guest
    • Email – Your email address
    • Company – Company Name
    • Title – N/A
    • Dietary Restrictions: N/A
  1. Double-check the information and select complete. You will receive a confirmation email to forward to all your attendees as they will not receive a confirmation.

If you need to update your attendees at any point, please log in to your company account and navigate to the registered events page. From there, select the upcoming event and make the necessary changes. Once this is completed, please reach out to us so we are aware of the changes at info@mywit.org.

Sponsor Material Guidelines and Ad Specifications

LOGO: CONFIRM LOGO ON WIT AWARDS WEBSITE

If something needs to be corrected, please provide a high-resolution copy of your company logo in both of the following formats:

  •  .EPS (Vector) — Color
  • .AI — Hi-Res Color

Note: Logos cannot be pulled from websites or embedded in word documents or emails. If you have additional questions about the logo formats, please do not hesitate to contact us at lfacer@mywit.org. Logos that are of poor resolution that do not conform to these guidelines may appear pixelated, grainy or blurry in printed materials.

LINK TO COMPANY WEBSITE: CONFIRM LINK ON WIT AWARDS WEBSITE

A link to your company’s website will be included in various communications on WIT’s website. If you have a women’s affinity group, consider providing a link to that rather than your homepage, as that will be of interest to our audience.

ADVERTISING MATERIALS FOR EVENT PROGRAM: Due Thursday, September 12, 2024

Sponsors receive advertisement space in the event digital program book as part of the sponsorship package. The specifications for the ads are as follows:

  • File Type – JPG, File Size – No Bigger Than 1MB (16:9 ratio).

VIDEO TO APPEAR ON LINKEDIN: Due Thursday, September 12, 2024

Video must focus on “Why” WIT Awards is important to your company and can highlight how your organization empowers women (1 minute or less) – please upload your video below and email Paula Bolton at pbolton@mywit.org once you have uploaded.

All materials must be submitted no later than COB Thursday, September 12th to the folders above.

Promotions, Media, & Advertising Plan

UPCOMING PROMOTIONS, MEDIA AND ADVERTISING SCHEDULE

WIT, through its media and trade partnerships, has a comprehensive advertising and media plan designed to meet the following objectives:

· Promote WIT Awards

· Promote Sponsors

· Secure quality attendance at the event through ticket and table sales

EMAIL CAMPAIGNS

WIT has built a solid opt-in email list of interested individuals and members who wish to receive regular communications. In addition to regular features in WIT’s monthly newsletter, several email campaigns will be issued during the promotional period in conjunction with key In The News blog posts. Confirmed event sponsors (with agreement and monies paid) will be recognized in all of these communications.

WIT WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS

WIT will actively promote WIT Awards and highlight sponsors on its website as well as its social media outlets, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn (join our group: ‘Women in Technology’). If your organization has social media accounts, please be sure to follow us! All organizations that do will benefit from recognition on WIT’s LinkedIn account leading up to the event.

As an event sponsor, we have included the event logo you can use to promote the event. We encourage you to promote the event and your involvement to increase visibility and encourage increased attendance.
