Women in Technology (WIT) announced the winners of its 2024 Women of the Year Awards at a ceremony held at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday, October 24th.
WIT Awards celebrates women and girls in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM) who live in the state of Georgia for their accomplishments as leaders in business, visionaries, and those who make a difference in their communities. Additionally, a special high school girl is recognized as the Girl of The Year, a rising 20-29-year-old as the Young Professional of the Year (new award this year), a campus club as the Campus Club of the Year, and a single mom with the Single Mother of The Year.
One winner from each of the following categories was selected and announced at this event:
Woman of the Year – Large/Enterprise Winner:

Woman of the Year – Medium/Mid-Sized Winner:

Metaversity Director/Sr. Assistant Professor at Morehouse College
Woman of the Year – Small/Emerging Winner:

Woman to Watch Winner:
Anqi Zou

Allie Hunter

Girl of the Year Winner:
McKayla Davis
Sprayberry High School
Campus Club of the Year Winner:
Georgia State University
The Single Mother of the Year, Allie Hunter, will receive a $10,000 stipend sponsored by Insight Global.
The Girl of the Year, McKayla Davis, will receive a $10,000 scholarship sponsored by State Farm.
The Campus Club of the Year, Georgia State University, will receive a $5,000 scholarship sponsored by ADP.
