Women in Technology’s (WIT) 23rd Annual Women of the Year Awards will be held on October 8th at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia with more than 1,000 technologists in attendance. The WIT Awards Gala celebrates female visionaries, who live in the state of Georgia, of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), groundbreakers in business and remarkable leaders who make a difference in their workplace and community. WIT will also be celebrating 30 years of serving the community through STEAM education, exposure, and experiences.

WIT is proud to announce the 2022 Women of the Year Awards Title Sponsor, Cisco, and the Presenting Sponsor, Innova Solutions.

“At Cisco, we instill a conscious culture, contribute to the company’s overall performance, and advance Cisco’s purpose to Power an Inclusive Future for All,” said Jacqui Guichelaar, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Customer Experience, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China. “We are also committed to our continued partnership with Women in Technology which helps bring our purpose to life, and we are incredibly proud to be the Title Sponsor for the 2022 Women of the Year Awards. We celebrate the amazing women in STEAM across the state of Georgia who are breaking ground and removing barriers to make a difference in their communities.”

“It is truly inspiring to witness the Cisco organization’s dedication to the development of future opportunities for women throughout all areas of STEAM, specifically how they have supported the WIT Single Mothers Program. We are incredibly excited to have them as our Title Sponsor for the 2022 Women of the Year Awards Gala,” said Penny Collins, WIT President and CEO.

WIT Board Member and Cisco Vice President of IT Operations, Kanyatta Walker, speaks to her dedication and involvement with Women In Technology, “I’ve had the honor and privilege to volunteer with WIT in multiple roles over the last 10 years. To me, WIT is so much more than an organization—it is an opportunity to directly shape the lives of future women in tech.”

In addition, Women In Technology is honored to have Innova Solutions, formerly ACS Solutions, as the Presenting Sponsor of the Awards Gala. “For over two decades, Innova has focused on providing innovative solutions and serving as an agent of change in the digital world. That’s why we’re proud to partner with WIT to empower the innovators of tomorrow because when women succeed, our communities and businesses are stronger,” said Raj Sardana, Chief Executive Officer of Innova Solutions

“Innova Solutions is making a measurable impact on the trajectory for girls and women in STEAM, and we are honored to partner with them as our Presenting Sponsor for the 23rd Annual WIT Awards Gala,” said Collins.

The Women of the Year Awards in STEAM Gala gathers top Georgia companies at the forefront of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) industries to recognize and announce the Women of the Year – women who demonstrate leadership and vision in business and who make a difference in our community. Additionally, we celebrate a special high school girl as the Girl of The Year, a single mom with our Single Mother of The Year Award, and for the first time this year, a WIT College Club with our Campus Club of the Year Award.

The 2022 Women of the Year Awards in STEAM Gala will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, starting with a VIP Reception from 5:00pm – 7:00pm and WIT Awards program from 7:45 – 9:00pm where all winners of each category will be announced.
