WIT Girls Young Design Contest: Showcase Your Creativity in STEM!

Do you have a creative spark and a passion for STEM? Here’s your chance to design a STEM-inspired creation to be featured on WIT swag! This is more than just a contest—it’s an opportunity to make your mark and inspire others with your design.

Submit Your Design Before February 25th

How to Enter:

  • Who Can Enter: Open to WIT Girls program participants or any young girl aged 12-18 with a love for creativity and STEM.
  • Theme: Create a design that celebrates the STEM fields with bold ideas, innovation, and empowerment! Your design should align with the WIT mission and can either include the WIT logo or name—though this is optional.

Design Requirements:

  • Digital Designs Only: Your design must be digitally created using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or similar platforms.
  • Original and Impactful: Keep your design original and visually impactful, ensuring it’s suitable for all ages.
  • Swag-Friendly: Consider how your design will look on items like T-shirts, tote bags, and more!

Important Dates:

  • Contest Opens: January 20th, 2025
  • Submission Deadline: February 25th, 2025
  • Top 3 Announcement & Poll Opens: March 5th, 2025
  • Poll Closes: March 10th, 2025
  • Winner Announcement: March 12th, 2025

The Prize:

  • Feature Your Design: The winning design will be professionally printed on exclusive WIT swag, including T-shirts, tote bags, and more.
  • Special Recognition: Your design will be featured on WIT’s website and social media.
  • WIT Prize Pack: A prize pack filled with swag featuring your design and a $50 gift card.
  • Inspiration for Others: Your creative journey will be highlighted to inspire future STEM innovators.

Submission & Judging Process:

  1. Submit your design via the WIT Swag Contest Submission Form.
  2. Include a brief description (50-100 words) explaining how your design celebrates STEM and inspires innovation.
  3. Deadline: Submissions must be received by February 25th, 2025.
    1. WIT Staff will review submissions and select the top three designs based on creativity, originality, and relevance to STEM themes.
    2. The top three designs will be showcased for a LinkedIn poll on March 5th, where WIT’s 350,000+ community will vote for their favorite design.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited. This award has no cash value. All entries become the property of WIT upon submission and none will be returned. By entering this contest, you represent that your entry is an original work, created only by you, was legally obtained and created, and does not infringe the intellectual property or other legal or equitable rights of any third party. You also agree that WIT has the absolute right and permission to publish or use your entry and your name [biographical image, or likeness] in connection with the contest or for any promotional purpose without limitation or compensation. By entering this contest, you grant WIT an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, license to copy, reproduce, publish, create derivative works of, or otherwise use or display your entry without limitation or compensation.
