2024 APPLICATION PROCESS IS CLOSED

The Campus Club of the Year Award praises special participants from the WIT Campus program for their exemplary achievement and dedication to STEM studies. This club is fully engaged in the program, attentive, actively participates, and encourages others. Their participation in the WIT Programs and STEM academics should create a lasting and positive impression on the WIT sponsors and mentors.

We are excited that you are interested in the WIT Campus Club of the Year Award! The award can be up to $5,000 for one WIT Campus Club and will be awarded at the Women of the Year Awards Gala.

Important Notes:

  • Application process ends on August 30th at 11:59 pm eastern time.
  • Finalists will be required to participate in a video interview and must be available 
  • Scholarships will be awarded at the Women of the Year Awards Gala.  Accommodations are not provided.

Scholarship Benefits:

The financial scholarship award will be paid directly to your confirmed educational institution.  The scholarship recipient is required to provide the WIT Office the necessary information to make direct payment to the educational institute two weeks in advance of required payment date.

  • Recognition on the Women in Technology website, WIT videos, the WIT Campus web page and social media

Requirements:

Must have an active WIT Campus Club exemplified through the following engagement requirements:

  • Hosted at least 2 club events during Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters with an emphasis on STEM education, exposure, or empowerment
  • Confirm a minimum of 2 club events planned for the upcoming school year Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 with an emphasis on STEM education, exposure, or empowerment
  • Engaged with at least 1 WIT Campus Sponsor during the 2023/2024 school year
  • Had at least 1 club member attend Job Shadow in January 2024
  • Had at least 1 club member participate in the WIT Campus Group Mentoring program. The member(s) attended at least 75% of all meetings during the program
  • Submission of Club Roster
  • Submission of Current Club Constitution/By-laws ensuring the club’s execution meets by-law requirements
  • Submission of Videos and/or Photos of events hosted (minimum of 5 artifacts submitted)
  • Must be able to participate in a virtual judging which takes place ahead of the WIT Awards Gala

Please note: A club winner is not eligible to apply for another WIT Campus Club of the Year Award until 24 months after winning.
