WIT Campus – Scholarships for STEAM Students (WIT Campus Clubs)

WIT believes in supporting you for all your hard work and we do this by offering scholarships that will help you in your college journey. That is why participants of the WIT Campus program will be eligible to apply for a student scholarship.

We are excited that you are interested in the WIT Campus Scholarship! Scholarship awards can be up to $10,000 and are awarded at the June WIT Connect Event.

Important Dates:

  • Application process ends on Thursday, March 31, 2023 at 11:59 pm eastern time.
  • Finalists will be required to participate in a video interview and must be available 
  • Scholarships will be awarded at the 2023 June WIT Connect Event.  Accommodations are not provided

Scholarship Benefits:

The financial scholarship award will be paid directly to your confirmed educational institution.  The scholarship recipient is required to provide the WIT Office the necessary information to make direct payment to the educational institute two weeks in advance of required payment date.

  • Three (3) tickets to and recognition at WIT Connect in June 2023.
  • Recognition on the Women in Technology website, WIT videos, the WIT Campus web page and social media


  • Must be a full-time (Freshman to Junior) undergraduate with a minimum of 24 credit hours remaining in pursuit of their first Bachelor’s degree in STEAM, enrolled in an accredited Georgia College or University with an active WIT Campus program
  • Or attend a 2-year college with an active WIT Campus Club with:
    • plans to attend a 4-year college in pursuit of a STEAM degree (student is in first year at 2-year college)
    • accepted into a 4-year college in pursuit of a STEAM degree (student is in first or second year at a 2-year college)
  • Must be currently enrolled in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) related degree program
  • Must be in good academic standing with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
  • Must be a registered WIT Campus Member with WIT, the parent organization, in addition to being on your WIT Campus Club’s Roster (if not, click here to complete your registration)
  • At least 2 WIT Campus Club specific events. Please note, sign off from your Campus Club Faculty Advisor is required for proof of attendance at Club specific events.
  • At least 2 other WIT Sponsored events. This could include any of the following:
    • Another WIT Sponsored event specific for WIT Campus
    • A WIT Sponsored event open to others outside of WIT Campus such as Forums, Socials, YoPros, etc.
    • Group Mentoring (at least one semester) and or Job Shadow

* Note: All scholarship winners will not be eligible to apply for another WIT scholarship until 24 months after their winning.

  • Provide a copy of your most recent grade report or official transcript
  • Attach updated Resume
  • Attach high resolution professional head shot photo
  • Must be able to attend WIT Connect in June 2023
  • Must be able and willing to represent WIT at speaking engagements when requested
  • Must be a US citizen
