Young girls are provided with a glimpse of the day-to-day excitement of a career in technology as they participate in the Job Shadow program. For one week each year, high school girls are paired with various career women in the technology field so they can learn what their future holds when they earn a diploma in a STEAM field.
What better way for young girls to see how cool jobs in technology are than by shadowing women who enjoy them every day?
Job Shadow is held annually during one week in June or July and geared toward rising 9th-12th grade female students. Meet some of Atlanta’s most fascinating women in technology and learn more about how you can have a career with an impressive salary and boundless opportunities! There is no charge for students to participate in this and other WIT Girls events!
