Supporting WIT…

Why did you start volunteering with WIT?

I love that WIT is always finding creative ways to impact our greater community through Women in STEAM. WIT acknowledges that by providing opportunities for these women, their communities are changed for the better

What do you find most rewarding about volunteering with WIT?

Through attending WIT’s panels and larger events, I have been inspired to reach higher in my own career.

What is your favorite program / event within WIT?

It is very difficult to say which program or event is my favorite. They all serve an important purpose and are woven together to create a larger community of inspiration, influence, networking, education, and growth.

About our Volunteer…

What about you…What would you like to share that people may not know? When I was in Kindergarten, I had to write about my interests and hobbies. I wrote, “I like to help people and I like to play.” This is still very true to this day. I am blessed that my career as a Recruiter allows me to daily help people of all walks of life. Volunteering for WIT is an extension of this. I have met countless men and women through WIT with the same passion for helping others.
