The Job:
As a Software Engineer Test II on the KBB Instant Cash Offer team, you will be a part of a software team that designs and develops robust and scalable web services and consumer facing applications.You will be an accomplished, well-rounded developer with a solid understanding of the appropriate use of best practices and frameworks for creating automation tests to test backend APIs and front end UIs. You will be passionate about exploring the use of innovative technologies and techniques and evaluating them for suitability in our environment.

Amazon : AWS SDK, Elastic Beanstalk, ElastiCache, S3, and AWS cloud-native architectures
DevOps Tools : NewRelic, AWS CodeBuild, TeamCity, Splunk
Responsibilities:
·Be a part of a team of software engineers that design and develop code that consistently adheres to good programming practices
-Build automation tests to test backend APIs
– Build automation tests to test front end UI’s
·Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites using industry standard tools and frameworks.
·Collaborate with product managers and technologists to solve business problems
·Live by Agile (particularly Scrum) principles and collaborate with team members using Agile techniques including test driven development, code reviews, and retrospectives
·Maintain Cox Automotives position as an industry leader by exploring new technologies, languages, and techniques in the rapidly evolving world of high volume data processing
Qualifications:
·Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline and 2 year’s of related experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a Master’s degree and up to 2 year’s related experience; or 6 year’s experience in a related field
·Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
·2+ years of professional application development experience with a proven ability to deliver projects on time
·C#, C++, or some other type of Object Oriented Programing experience.
·Hands-on experience with designing and implementing on AWS is preferred
·Experience with designing and implementing automation test frameworks
·Database development skills, including advanced SQL, relational and NoSQL database technologies
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·Proven ability to work with team members to deliver projects on deadlines.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Drug Testing:
To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $93,400.00 – $140,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
