Supporting WIT…
Why did you start volunteering with WIT?
I saw the impact and influence that WIT had on so many people, specifically one of my previous leaders. Seeing her passion for WIT & what it stood for is what initially sparked my interest. I wanted the chance to be surrounded by smart, successful women that I could learn from while being a part of something bigger! Once I became involved with the organization, I knew that I wanted to play a bigger role in WIT’s mission.
What do you find most rewarding about volunteering with WIT?
The impact these events & programs have on the community, from young girls who found their love for STEAM and can share that passion with others to Executives who can strategize and collaborate with other amazing leaders in the Atlanta market. Everyone can benefit and grow from the relationships made and the experiences shared. WIT opens the door to so many opportunities that many women didn’t know, or think were possible for them!
What is your favorite program/event within WIT?
