Rachel Barger is Senior Vice President of the Americas Sales, the largest of Cisco’s three geographic regions, and is responsible for approximately $37 billion in annual sales for the company. She leads a richly diverse and dynamic team that spans across 17 countries and six theaters (including Service Provider, Canada, Latin America, U.S. Commercial, U.S. Public Sector, and the Global Enterprise Segment). Through more than 20 years’ experience driving profitable growth and leading high-performing teams across EMEA and Asia Pacific, she brings a global perspective to delivering innovative approaches and driving an inclusive future for all.
Rachel’s fun facts:
· She almost left the world of tech for sports. She was a national field hockey champion both as a player and a coach for the University of Delaware.
· She loves karaoke

Scott Herren
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Office
Scott Herren is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Cisco, managing the financial strategy, global finance organization, procurement, and mergers/ acquisitions and integrations for the company with total revenue for fiscal year 2022 of $51.6B and 83,300 employees. Scott is focused on accelerating Cisco’s shift towards a more recurring revenue business model, maximizing long-term shareholder value, and maintaining the high level of integrity and transparency for which Cisco is known.
Scott’s fun facts
· When Scott worked at FedEx in the late ’90s, he won the Pro-Am Golf Tournament before their annual PGA event.
· As a kid, he was a huge Hank Aaron fan and was at the game when Aaron broke Babe Ruth’s record for most home runs.
Special former-PGA guest: Roberto Castro
Director at CapTech Consulting
Former Professional Golf Association (PGA) player, Roberto Castro, now Director at CapTech Consulting, is passionate about building a bridge between technology and sports. He is focused on expanding CapTech’s golf and sports practice by leveraging powerful data and innovative technology solutions to create next-level experiences and shape the future of sports.
Prior to joining CapTech, Castro’s 15-year professional golf career included 9 seasons on the PGA Tour with appearances in 2 Tour Championships, 2 Masters, and 6 US Opens. Castro retired from the PGA Tour in 2021 and started his own golf consulting agency with his brother. He currently hosts Course Record Show, a business-focused golf podcast.
Roberto earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. During his time as a student athlete, Castro received the Byron Nelson Award and the NCAA Top VIII Award—both honors for athletic success, academic achievement, and community service.
Roberto lives in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters and is active with the East Lake Foundation as well as First Tee of Metro Atlanta.
