Dimi Deju
Grace Homeschool Academy
Dimi is a 12th grader who works hard to exemplify service and compassion throughout her academic career. She plans on studying marketing, entrepreneurship, and agriculture in college with the goal of becoming an innovative entrepreneur in the food technology industry. Food and family have had a profound impact on her through the covid-19 pandemic, and through her nonprofit, GrowMeGolden, she hopes to improve the positive impact of cuisine for youth around the world.
Dimi enjoys creative writing, dance, and cooking in her free time. She aspires to become a published YA author and travel the world for her career. Learn more and join the mission at https://growmegolden.org/ to empower healthy habits and informed diets among youth.
Bhoomi Kotharkar
Lambert High School
My name is Bhoomi Kotharkar, and I am a senior at Lambert High School. I am excited to share that I have committed to Georgia Tech to major in Computer Science this fall. Aside from being a competitive gymnast and violinist, I also love to knit.
I am currently interning at Siemens Energy, and proudly hold the position of President at Lambert FBLA. My passion lies in the field of Entrepreneurial Artificial Intelligence, and it is my ultimate goal to specialize in this area.
Gracelyn Sanusy
Centennial High School
My name is Gracelyn Seyilola Ayomide Sanusy. I am a seventeen-year-old first-generation American and a senior at Centennial High School, in Roswell, Georgia. As a driven student with a passion for technology and helping others, I demonstrated my problem-solving skills while in high school, where I helped diagnose issues with the school’s generator.
My single mother has raised me to be committed to my faith in Jesus Christ, and this drives my desire to add value to my family, my environment, my country, and the world. In addition to being a straight-A honor roll student, I represent my high school in the 400-meter races and relays, earning my school points at meets. I see engineering as a means to create solutions that benefit those in need. I strive to be the first engineer in my family, and I am determined to achieve my goals and make a difference in the world.

Makayla Johnson
Georgia State University
As a sophomore at Georgia State University, I am on a mission to empower others through the transformative power of education. Growing up in poverty, I learned early on that true wealth lies not in material possessions, but in the richness of one’s mind. With a passion for cyber security and a heart for helping others, I am committed to using my knowledge and skills to make the world a safer and more just place for all.
Whether it’s by providing cyber security training to vulnerable communities or advocating for greater transparency and accountability in government and corporate organizations, I am driven by a deep sense of purpose and a belief that we can all make a positive impact in the world. Join me on this journey towards empowerment, and let’s use education as a tool to create a brighter future for all.
Sathvika Narasimhan
University of Georgia
Sathvika is a 3rd year computer science major on the premedical track at the University of Georgia. She enjoys staying involved on campus and in the community as a WIT Campus member, Honors Ambassador, Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant, and several others. As President of Girls Who Code@UGA, Sathvika works with local schools to establish after-school coding programs for young girls to encourage more women to pursue a career in STEM/computer science. She is also an undergraduate researcher at the Mortensen Lab.
Passionate about healthcare, Sathvika serves on the executive board of Roosevelt @UGA and leads a policy team focused on healthcare inequity. She pursues her passion for serving the underserved by volunteering at the Bethesda Community Clinic as a Medical Assistant. In the future, Sathvika intends to pursue a career as an academic physician where she will continue conducting research at the intersection of computer science and medicine while also serving her patients compassionately with comprehensive medical attention and holistic treatment.
Anaya Yorke
Georgia Gwinnett College
Anaya Yorke is a Georgia Gwinnett College student majoring in Applied Mathematics with minors in Spanish and Information Technology. She was a founding member of the Women in Engineering club at her college and served as the Vice President of Women in Technology, where she organized events and helped foster an inclusive community for women pursuing majors in STEAM.
Anaya also participated in the Math Science and Engineering club, ITSA, and served as the Social Media Manager for Grizzly Hacks. She is an active member and mentor at Mentor Collective, assisting those pursuing majors in STEAM. As a part of the Regents Engineering Pathway program at GGC, Anaya plans to transfer to the University of Georgia, this fall, to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering. Her ultimate goal is to obtain a master’s degree in Robotics, leading to a career as a Robotics Engineer for international efforts.
