PR Web Release: Cox Enterprises returns as the VIP Sponsor for Women In Technology’s 2021 Women of the Year Awards Gala

Women in Technology (WIT) is the largest non-profit organization committed to empowering and educating women and girls about opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) in Georgia. This is the third year Cox Enterprises is a VIP Sponsor of the 2021 Women of the Year Awards.

The WIT Awards Gala celebrates female visionaries of STEAM, groundbreakers in business, and remarkable leaders who make a difference in their workplace and community.

“Empowering women and girls to excel at STEAM aligns closely with Cox’s values and continued efforts in this space,” said Maury Wolfe, assistant vice president of corporate responsibility and public affairs at Cox Enterprises. “We are excited to celebrate the honorees as they carve out their path to greatness.”

“The incredible partnership with Cox Enterprises and the company’s focused determination on being an employer of choice for women, speaks straight to our values, and we are proud to have them as our VIP sponsor for a third year,” said Penny Collins, WIT president, and CEO.

The Women of the Year Awards in STEAM Gala gathers top Georgia companies at the forefront of (STEAM) industries to recognize and announce the Women of the Year – women who demonstrate leadership and vision in business and who make a difference in our community. WIT also recognizes a Georgia based man who champions for women in their networks through the WIT Build Her Up award. Additionally, a special high school girl is recognized as the Girl of the Year, a college woman with our Campus Student of the Year Award, a single mom with our Single Mother of the Year Award, and an incredible WIT Volunteer with our Volunteer of the Year Award.
