What can I expect from this event?

A one-day job shadow program hosted at Macy’s Technology and Primerica. The program will provide the opportunity for students to learn about various STEAM roles/functions, to engage with professionals on different career levels, to participate in job function activities, to tour the campus, and to learn of career entry and internship opportunities.

What can I expect from this event?

Join WIT’s President & CEO, Heather Rocker, for an interactive discussion and learn how to put Strategic Volunteering to work for you and your team.

Thursday, May 2nd – WIT Connect

What can I expect from this event?

WIT Connect is an annual fundraising event that brings together our diverse community and draws support from many stakeholders, including top-level executives, leaders, and industry professionals. The event is a unique platform for networking and collaboration, fostering connections, and supporting WIT’s mission. Be part of this pivotal moment and help us shape the future of STEAM!

We have reimagined our annual fundraiser for 2024. This year, the fundraiser will be hosted at TopGolf Midtown, and attendees will play in a short “tournament” and spend the evening playing various TopGolf games, participating in special contests, and mingling with Atlanta’s tech community members. This event will be packed with fun, fellowship, and fundraising and will feature an impressive lineup of leaders in our executive auction.

WIT will host its Annual Career fair for the entire WIT community on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The purpose of this career fair is to help women find careers in the STEAM space. Thursday, Oct. 24thWIT Awards

What can I expect from this event?

WIT is excited to host their 25th Annual Women of The Year Awards in October 2024 at the Georgia Aquarium with hundreds of technologists in attendance. WIT Awards celebrate women in STEAM who live in the state of Georgia for their accomplishments as leaders in business, visionaries, and women who make a difference in their communities.

Additionally, a special middle or high school girl is recognized as the Girl of The Year, a college with a WIT Campus Club is awarded our Campus Club of the Year, and a graduate from our Single Mothers Program is given our Single Mother of The Year Award.
