Madison’s Journey: Breaking Barriers in STEM
From a WIT Girl to a leader in STEM, Madison’s story shows how mentorship and support transform lives.
The Power of Community: Madison’s Story
Madison Kenney loved math. But in middle school, she found herself doubting her abilities. Then she attended a WIT Girls event and met a room full of girls who shared her passion for STEM—and women working as engineers who inspired her to dream big.
Thanks to a WIT Girls scholarship, Madison pursued engineering at Kennesaw State University. As one of the few women in her classes, she found strength in WIT Campus mentorship and job shadowing opportunities. Today, she’s a thriving member of WIT YoPros, ready to mentor the next generation.
“WIT gave me the confidence to pursue my dream. The mentorship was life-changing.”
