Our accomplishments over the past year demonstrate the continued support of our community of donors, volunteers, and the incredible women and girls we support. 

In 2023, WIT expanded its programs and initiatives, reaching more lives than ever. Through our programs, workshops, and events, WIT impacted over 6,000 women and girls. Our impact goes beyond just numbers; it’s reflected in each participant’s story of inspiration and empowerment. 

Inspiring the Next Generation  

Our WIT Girls program has been a cornerstone of our efforts to inspire young girls to pursue careers in STEAM. In 2023, we engaged over 400 girls in interactive workshops, mentorship programs, and job shadowing opportunities. These experiences are designed to give them the skills, confidence, and connections to envision and pursue bright futures in technology. 

The WIT Campus initiative continued to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world careers. By partnering with universities and colleges, we offered workshops, internships, and networking opportunities to over 350 students. Our WIT Campus Next Level Up™ Mentorship Program continues to be a highlight, fostering meaningful connections between college students and women industry leaders. 

Advancing Professional Growth 

WIT YoPros provides a platform for young professionals (ages 20-29) to network, learn, and grow. Through events, workshops, and mentorship, we empowered over 25 early-career women to navigate the challenges of the tech industry and advance their careers. Additionally, our WIT Forums and Socials brought together over 2,000 attendees, fostering an active community of professionals committed to sharing thought leadership and supporting one another. 

Supporting Women in Transition   

One of our most impactful programs is the WIT Single Mothers’ Program, designed to empower single mothers by providing them with the skills and resources needed to secure stable, well-paying jobs in technology. In 2023, we reached a milestone: over 100 women graduated from this program. With comprehensive training, career coaching, and job placement services, we have seen numerous success stories of women transforming their lives and securing fulfilling careers. 

Recognizing Corporate and Community Support 

Our success would not be possible without the incredible support of our corporate and community donors. In 2023, we strengthened our partnerships with over 50 leading companies, raising over $2 million to support our programs and initiatives. These relationships are crucial in driving our mission forward and ensuring we can continue empowering women and girls in STEAM.

As we celebrate the achievements of 2023, we are also looking ahead with excitement and determination. We are committed to expanding our reach, enhancing our programs, and creating more opportunities for women and girls in technology careers.  Your support is crucial in sustaining this momentum and driving further impact in the years to come.
