WIT Her Story: Vajratiya Vajrobol

Meet Vajratiya Vajrobol.

Vajratiya Vajrobol is a Ph.D. student and mentor in the Cyber-Physical System lab at the Institute of informatics and communications.

I am Tiya currently pursuing in Ph.D. of NLP for social goods. My passion is on developing language models and resources for low-language and also the application of NLP in mental health.

Do you have any advice for someone who wants to be in the same career field? 

My advice is to take ownership of your goals and put in the hard work to achieve them. This might mean taking on new challenges, seeking out additional training or education, or simply putting in extra effort to excel in your current role.

In the photo, I got the opportunity to present my work related to NLP in mental health at the 19th International Conference on Natural Language Processing at IIIT Delhi, India.
