WIT Campus

WIT Campus

Programs for college students

WIT Campus helps women in college prepare to enter and advance their careers in technology. College- and university-based WIT Campus chapters create supportive communities of students and tech professionals. This approach helps students find mentors, demystify job searching and career advancement, and build the network and professional skills they need.

Specific programming includes:

A simple white heart shape on a light grey background.

Nine-week Campus Small-Group Mentorship Program

Simple icon of three stylized human figures, with one larger central figure and two smaller figures on each side, all outlined in white on a light gray background.

Career Exploration Day at leading tech companies

A simple network diagram with a central circle connected by lines to five outer circles, forming a star-like shape.

Campus chapter-based events and programs

College students can gain valuable experience by volunteering with WIT. They can also build their networks by attending WIT Socials and WIT Forums.

WIT Campus chapters

Each WIT Campus chapter has a dedicated WIT Campus liaison to support programming and administration. WIT Campus chapters are currently active at the following campuses:

University of Georgia

Gwinnett Technical College

Kennesaw State University

Georgia State University

Georgia Southern University

Columbus State University

I came into this program somewhat lost about my field and not knowing anyone. I wanted to learn more about the different ways I could stand out. This mentorship program helped me learn what recruiters are looking for.

Participant, WIT Campus Mentorship

I’ve been involved with Women in Technology since my freshman year of high school, and I credit the WIT Girls program with giving me an early foundation in technology and the confidence to pursue it seriously. As I transitioned into college, staying consistently engaged became more challenging. The WIT Campus Mentorship Program changed that. It provided a structured, low-friction way to stay involved while continuing to grow professionally. My mentor was consistently supportive and approachable, and learning from someone operating at a high level in the industry gave me a much clearer understanding of how to think about long-term positioning, skill development, and navigating a rapidly evolving field.
