The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a background in the Telecommunications field with both TDM and IP telephony; knowledge of room based and desktop video solutions; knowledge of Cisco’s Unified Communications portfolio (IP PBX, phones, voicemail, unified messaging, web collaboration, voice gateways, video), Software. In addition to integration into other platform for hybrid deployments like MS Teams.
This work is critical to current Enterprise Voice platform including Care Center flows are being maintained and innovated to meet the needs of MoE as well as innovation to future DCIO needs.

Role & Responsibilities:

Advanced knowledge of implementation & administration of telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Cisco IM and Presence, Expressway, WebEx and video conferencing systems. Voice Gateways with FXS, FXO and T1 PRI Interfaces.
Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Voice over IP (VoIP) call control, call routing, and applications and services based on a Cisco Systems platform. Knowledge of open industry standard protocols such as H.323, MGCP and SIP, SCCP, DHCP, and TFTP.
Knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing Hybrid cloud UC infrastructure deployments to include 3rd party integration like Slack, MS Teams; Hybrid Calling models.
Apply knowledge and expertise to maintain and support IP telephony infrastructures, analyze, design, implement system administration, troubleshooting, analysis, testing, research, training, problem solving, technical support, development and testing / deployment of new applications, hardware and systems.
Work closely with technical and operational teams in the development and implementation and operational turnover of Unified Communications based solutions for the enterprise.
Function as an internal consultant and resource to others in the department and external as it relates to current and future telephony infrastructures and Voice over IP systems solutions to meet business requirements.
Minimum Required Education and Experience

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in computer science preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in Cisco Unified Communications Technologies and third party integrations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident interfacing at all levels of the company.
Proven ability to work effectively with and provide guidance to other members of the work group.
Cisco CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration would be considered an advantage.
