Working as an Engineering Director at Cooper Lighting Solutions is dynamic.
You’ll be responsible for creating our next generation of innovative outdoor lighting products.
What you’ll do
Lead New Product Development Engineers and cross functional teams to develop products identified in the CC Special Investment Program
Conduct business-level verification, reliability and market testing of new solutions
Oversee the execution of the I2M process (New Product Development) and support stage gate presentations.
Manage R&D expense and capital spending for the CC Special Project product platform
Interface with peer Engineering, Program Managers, Marketing and Supply Chain leaders locally and globally to leverage best practices and synergies
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
10+ years of directly related engineering experience
5+ years of leadership experience in engineering
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Well-developed and demonstrated interpersonal skills
