The Franchise Operations Specialist (FOS) will supports the franchise division and also provide operational support to Orkin franchisees to ensure compliance with the franchise agreement and operating standards. The FOS will serve in these ways:

·   Provides operational support in all Orkin processes and systems

·    Serves as primary communication conduit among the franchise partners and Orkin’s various home office departments.

·    Provides accountability in franchise performance and maintaining brand standards and Identifies opportunities for franchises in general business best practices.

The FOS also supplies information, maintains files and produces correspondence.  Duties and tasks are varied and complex, and typically require originality and/or ingenuity.  Relies on experience and judgment and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  Works under minimal supervision and may periodically assist in orienting and training franchise owners.

The Opportunity:

The successful Franchise Operations Specialist will possess the following abilities and will be responsible for:

Monitor franchise P&Ls and identify financial health of each business as well as prepare performance reports
Manage franchise accounting data and communicate monthly performance results with franchises, respective divisions and Orkin leadership
Monitor performance of franchises to ensure satisfactory service delivery to Orkin customers and adherence to Orkin brand standards
Collect and review QA audit results for the franchises to ensure compliance with the franchise agreement
Manage franchise performance with National Accounts and provide status reports periodically throughout the year as well as resolving discrepancies
Provide Client Services Support (i.e. Track Service Request, New Starts, Inspection Requests, Service Issues with franchises)
Analyze and determine purchase price to be paid to franchise for local commercial customers that are changed to National Account status
Make decisions and recommendations pertaining to franchise non-compliance with regards to National Accounts
Manage franchise performance with Orkin owned termite reinspections
Completion percentage and communicate results to franchise owners
Manage Franchise Data Systems including updates to the Orkin Franchise Website
Review and update franchise territory database biannually, maintain contacts database including the franchise directory
Manage the franchise candidate intake process from pre-qualification through approval (i.e. coach franchise prospects on the application process, applicable forms, procedure and legal requirements)
Provide support and oversight of new franchises to ensure both a successful branch opening and commencement of service to existing customer portfolio
Manage the day-to-day issues raised by the franchisees and work effectively with all Rollins Support Center departments to encourage and facilitate franchisee’s access to all appropriately entitled home office resources per the agreement
Identify training needs of franchise operations and facilitate the delivery of same
Review & prepare legal documents for signatures, mailing & filing
Oversee changes to the Franchise Service Agreements on Diamond Choice
Coordinate franchise access to Orkin’s business and training technology including login credentials
Network with mobility applications team to provide franchise access to iPad applications
Manage the Planning and Execution of the Annual Franchise Owners Meeting (i.e. venue selection & setup, coordinate events, network prepare reports for presentations/awards and meeting budget)
Perform other duties assigned
Other Qualifications:

Knowledge of franchise principles and the pest control industry
Sound ethics and integrity in building personal relationships with franchise partners and home office departments
Strong knowledge of all operational and brand standards
Ability to consummate projects from start to finish & solve problems as they occur and offer solutions
Basic legal acumen desired
This individual will have the fortitude to help take a good program to the next level and must be able to work with little supervision or direction
