As a Director of Release Management, you can look forward to:

Develop, manage, lead, and mentor the release management teams.
Identify and implement process improvements that reduces overall effort required to manage a release cycle.
Provide technical leadership for every aspect of what the release management team does.
Develop and manage roadmaps
Establish and install release management standards and processes along with best practices
Drive release execution improvements that result in deployment efficiencies, including automation of manual processes.
Perform regular quality and design reviews to ensure the team is attaining business goals and provide regular updates to CIO.
Participate in strategic planning to accomplish technical and business goals.
Understand customer needs and allocate resources to address the needs, following through on any issues to ensure resolutions meet customer expectations.
Have a proactive mindset to drive change, question assumptions and push for innovative solutions.

As the Senior Director of Release Management, you can expect to perform the following tasks on an ongoing basis.

Demonstrate a strong knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies and mentor others in their use.
Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintain a safe, secure, legal work environment and develop personal growth opportunities for your team.
Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality and time to market imperatives.
Report on the status of release management to the CIO and the leadership team.
Communicate company strategy and goals to the release management team so they understand the “why” behind what they are striving for.
Perform quarterly goal setting and reviews to ensure the team is aligned with company strategy and goals
Facilitate cross team collaboration

ITSM transformation leadership experience with Technical aptitude to drive the team to improve existing processes,

Payments experience a plus
