Equifax is seeking a bright, determined Product Architect Manager to lead a team of technical product owners for the Direct to Consumer and Regulatory product vertical, ensuring our product capabilities and roadmap meet our business and technology needs. This job represents business & technology stakeholders to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine, and communicate business and technology needs, so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions. This requires a detailed understanding of both customer needs and technology & business vision and strategy in order to execute appropriately and efficiently. The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively with multiple development teams and lead by influence.

This position reports into the Technology division and serves as the day to day decision maker and provides continual guidance for the execution team. This position is responsible for prioritizing the execution team’s work so that it aligns with the sponsor’s/business executive’s strategies. The candidate will work with the business and technology delivery teams to identify and mitigate risks to include business operational risks; escalate issues; and develop and recommend appropriate solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with business & technology stakeholders to build and maintain the product roadmap across consumer facing, backend, and mobile platforms.
  • Work with business product management partners to define larger and more complex solution components for technology departments, and break them down into logical, discrete units for development.
  • Communicate the vision and goals to our engineering teams for each program increment.
  • Define, measure, and report metrics for effective product delivery.
  • Manage a team of product owners responsible for multiple products and initiatives.
  • Work with the team to elaborate epics and user stories for implementation and work with other product owners across technology to ensure alignment toward the Equifax vision.
  • Ensure that the product feature backlog is constantly prioritized to secure delivery of maximum business value.
  • Own the roadmap for delivery of capabilities for your product and/or product lines.
  • Engage with key customer contacts and with business product managers as required to ensure that all relevant inputs to the product backlog have been collected and prioritized.
  • Participate in team planning meetings and exercising availability to provide advice, clarification and guidance during the execution of each sprint.
  • Inspect, accept, or reject completed work from the development sprint.
  • Work with program managers to support estimation and tracking of budgeting and forecasting for delivery teams.
  • Demonstrate completed product functionality to the internal stakeholders at the completion of each sprint.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude and drive to learn new technologies and processes.​

 Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience as a Product Architect, Technical Product Owner, Technical Product Manager or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience as a technical product owner within an agile environment.
  • 5+ years of experience of systems development life cycle, specifically solution design, analysis, architecture and design.
  • 3+ years of understanding of APIs, mobile applications, web services, user interfaces, batch processing, and other enterprise systems.
  • 3+ years of understanding of cloud technologies, preferably with GCP or AWS.
  • 5 + years of experience with stakeholder management to lead and ensure delivery.
