Global Learning and Development Operations Manager

The Global MDP L&D Manager will have a key role in managing the planning and execution of MDPO globally and the Leadership journey for NAMR.  The candidate will also play a crucial role in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the leadership journey and other associated programs, reviewing the feedback regularly in order to identify possible areas for improvement, proposing new ideas and suggesting how to embed new learning topics when emerging (eg, D&I). The candidate will globally lead the improvement across the regions and working closely with other Global MDP L&D team members, e.g. content/journey experts.  This role plays a critical part in collaborating with key Global Partner People Team and firmwide leaders, Partner Services Group, regional MDP L&D teams, and external vendors.  Programming will focus on virtual live sessions, self-paced learning, coaching, and in-person capstone programs.  This role will also play a critical part in collaborating with the content design team, the communication team, the regional teams as they redesign the Apprenticeship Program and as processes are established, set up and rolled out.

Working together with the Global MDP L&D Director, you will  Be the operational point person for Managing Director and Partner Orientation (MDPO) globally, NAMR based Leadership Foundations (LF), Apprenticeship and other associated NAMR MDP programs.  This includes:
Planning MDP training journeys, including program management (e.g. calendaring, overseeing training invitations, registrations and cancellations), event management (e.g. secure locations, logistics, hotel, restaurants, banquets, ground transportation, room set-up look and feel, A/V, training documents, printing), participants management, and presenter management (e.g. internal presenters, external vendors, Senior Advisors) to ensure that training events run smoothly
Manage all legal and financial aspects, e.g. billing, invoicing, budgeting, tracking spending, reviewing SOWs, contracts, etc.

Experience:

Knowledge and interest in Learning & Development, ideally someone who has BCG knowledge
Project management skills
5+ years work experience in an operations role within professional services is preferred
Good understanding of business and learners’ needs and how to translate that into L&D actions
Skilled and trained on a variety of technical tools used for virtual events (virtual-live or online courses/meetings; as video conferencing, collaborative and communication tools, ie. Zoom, Webex, Slack, Trello, Outlook, Sales Force Marketing Cloud, etc.)
Organizational skills second to none, and the ability to think big whilst considering all the detail, often at the same time
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
Be the thought partner, contributor, and navigator on all things operational for the journey and on-demand programs
Be the glue to all things connected to the journey (MDPO to regional LF teams, NAMR faculty, communications, Saba, EdCast. reporting, operational efficiency, etc)
Be responsible for organizing and running training programs where you should expect to understand the content, the learner group and can identify what works well and where we need to excel further
Act as sparring partner to the global operations team when it comes to delivering high quality learner experiences. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring best practice and to create memorable events for our learners
Review and input on communication with participants and presenters, ensuring we keep in mind the learner experience and bringing consistency to the communications
As program lead, managing multiple external vendors who will be supporting you in delivering the training sessions and who will look for your steer and guidance on operational quality and manage team members from the Service Center
Mentor other Global LD& team members and be prepared to work in a fully global, collaborative team set up.
Be a key thought partner and contributor for the global Leadership journey as MDP leadership needs evolve and grow
Work closely as a thought partner with the wider team, the content managers and key stakeholders, to ensure the learner experience is valued and being delivered in the right way
Engage and continue to review innovation and technology options to support current and future training delivery
Support, where needed, Global MDP L&D team

Additionally, as the Operations Manager you may be required to support newly redesigned or future programs MDP programs as MDP needs evolve.  Program sizes range from around 30 to 150+ participants and take place throughout the year in a variety of formats: virtual sessions, blended learning, hybrid and in person events in locations across the world.
