UX Generalist

3Ci is looking for a UX Generalist to help grow their Partner’s UX practice. This person will help lead a mix of existing product enhancements, new product development and innovation initiatives supporting a global customer base. This opportunity will be located in Sandy Springs and will be a 6-month contract to hire.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead design thinking sessions as part of new product creation
  • Ability to sketch, wireframe, create user flows, sitemaps, personas based on research, business requirements & constraints
  • Storytelling: delivering insights about customers in a way that generates emotion and engagement
  • Analyze, map, and optimize workflow
  • Develop new approaches to complex interface and UX problems, and convey these designs in the form of presentations, prototypes, and design specifications
  • Work with agile team to iterate quickly, ensuring designs are implemented as envisioned in prototypes
  • Create prototypes for reviews, usability testing, and customer demos
  • Build engaging user experiences across multiple platforms
  • Coordinate and moderate research studies, usability tests, in person and remotely as needed
  • Assist the UX Director with facilitating the team as needed including critiques, design reviews, leading project meetings
  • Help scope, phase and estimate project timelines
  • Help evangelize our practice with customers and within the business through story-telling, lunch & learns and presentations to the leadership team

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Training in user-centered methods, conference, community meet-up or workshop participation

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating the application of the job responsibilities on real world projects

Required knowledge of:

  • User-centered design
  • Contextual Observation and user research
  • Design prototyping
  • User research
  • Agile and Scrum

Preferred knowledge of:

  • Kanban
  • Lean UX
  • Design systems and style guides
  • Accessibility, WCAG, Section 508 requirements
  • Some knowledge of responsive HTML/CSS, front-end design including Bootstrap, Material Design

Skills (all required):

  • Effectively meet deadlines and troubleshoot issues while handling multiple priorities and projects
  • Able to work independently with limited direction and/or in a team capacity to handle complex design issues while ensuring timely solutions
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Workshop / participatory design facilitation skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong writing/documentation skills
  • Strong prototyping skills using varying fidelity applications such as Adobe XD, inVision, Balsamiq, UXPin
